Very nice of you to put it out there for free Tom. I hope it will be as helpful to some as it has been inspirational to me. This will be something I read about once a month or so just to remind myself...
Thanks Tom. It could not have come at a better time. We are in the midst of an Arctic Blast with bitter cold and I woke up to snow this morning. I have not left the house for four days and was running out of movies and books to read so this is a welcome item. At some point I will need to get bundled up and go to the grocery store and will try to take some "peaceful snow images" and share if I can stand the cold. I had really hoped to be what we call a "snow bird" by now. Travel south for winter and north for summer!!!! Migrating Americans! Thanks again, Mark from Missouri, USA.
Thank you Tom! I'm pleased to have it to read and remind me of a kindred soul in the quest to seeing and have something to egg me on and remember to not just look, but to stop and breathe and see.
Of the many books out there about "seeing"for visual artists/photographers, this is foundational stuff it's a book that I will keep going back to for inspiration and challenges. Thank you putting it out there. Enrique
Thank you so very much Tom for sharing your reminiscences, thoughts, feelings and so much more with me. Thank you also for enabling me to SEE so much more than I thought I could! Christine

ReplyDeleteCheers Mike.
ReplyDeleteThe book is coming out soon and will have a whole host of new images. It's more a coffee table book.
